Shipping charges : $230 (health certificate and new crate also included) Continental ships animals to most large airports all year long. If your kitten/cat is over 4lbs, about 14 weeks +, they charge an extra $75 . I ship in the US (including Alaska) and to Canada.
Ive been breeding Bengals 8yrs. Ive shipped ALOT of cats. All my cats through the years that I have bought have also had them shipped in myself. It is scary for the cats but it is safe. I really like the airline I use, Continental. And though its better to pick your kitten up shipping is just one day of the cats life. It takes about 8 hours to ship no matter which state your going to . All cats get shipped to Texas and have a 1-2 hour lay over then change planes and go to what ever state your in. Even if your in the state next to me.
If you are within 1-2 states from me I do suggest driving though, it is alot less stressful on the cat. I will drive up to 1hr any direction if you are atleast 4 hours from me. If your atleast 6 hours from me I will drive 2 hours in any direction. This is FREE of charge. I pay my own gas.
It takes me an 1 1/2 hours to get to the airport, and they also make you arive 1 1/2 hours early. Your cat will be in that crate atleast 11 hours....hungry , scared and sometimes holding their potty. I always suggest to people give moist food or meat as soon as you can to get some food in the cat.
Your kitty will be scared when 1st getting home. It not only left the only home it knew, its siblings, mom, and its people but It also just flew on 2 planes that are loud . It will be sitting in the cargo which is very loud with the forklifts doing the luggage in the back. Think of your luggage being transported....your kitten actually goes with that luggage. You will even pick your kitten up in the luggage department. Please bring your current drivers license to pick your kitten up at Contiental cargo by luggage usually.
My airport I ship out of is Minneapolis Minnesota
